Limited Edition Spotlight: Alice Through The Looking Glass

Limited Edition Spotlight: Alice Through The Looking Glass

The second installment of the live-action Alice In Wonderland movie, Alice Through The Looking Glass dropped this past May 27th, and in all honesty, I could not give less of a poo about that movie.

What the movie lacks in interest for me though, it MORE than makes up for in it's collaboration campaign!

Urban Decay has released their Through The Looking Glass limited edition pop-up palette. 20 all new eyeshadows with shades inspired by Alice, Mad Hatter, The Red Queen, The White Queen and Time, all temptingly displayed in a beautifully embossed case with a 3-dimensional butterfly that unfurls when the top is opened.

Full disclosure: I do not own this palette.  I did try swatches over at Ulta and while the colors look great in the case, I found them a bit muddy on the skin. An eye primer would probably improve the color pay-off, but be wary and try before you buy. At $60.00, this isn't a cheap collection to get something you might be un-pleased with.

*Limited-edition lipsticks are available as well.

Disney/Macy's and one of my fave go-to accessory stores, LoveandMadness, joined forces as well! L&M gave a recent sneak-peek of the collection on their Instagram with the statement, "It's Time for a Little Madness" Madness Sneak Peeks #throughthelookingglass layered jewelry collection get it @macys."

Personal favorites are the "Wonderland" bracelet and the "three necklace pack."

Out of left field and not normally something I would cover (yet ;) since it has to do with household/lifestyle more than fashion/lifestyle, is the Miranda Kerr/HSN/ Looking Glass teacups!

Honestly, as far as I can tell from the photo there is nothing about the teacups that screams "ALICE!" other than the cups themselves look whimsically British.

There are also some clothing options available (Guiliana Rancic X HSN and Lauren Conrad's LC Alice Line) but honestly it all looks like they were made from your grandmother's "good couch."
